If you’re worried about the piste conditions at this time of year then Corvara might offer a good solution as the majority of surrounding slopes are at a high altitude, giving the snow more of a chance. When the temperature is low enough, the artificial snowmaking does a stellar job but if conditions are a bit touch and go, there’s always the chance to upgrade to the Superski pass for a day or two and ski the snow sure Marmolada glacier.
There are so many great mountain huts dotted around the pistes where you can soak up the snow-reflected sun (hopefully the goggle marks won’t be too bad this year...). Pralongia in particular has some incredible views and Piz La Ila acts as a good meeting point with a panorama to get your attention while you wait. Ski safari events are run sporadically throughout the year which involve skiing between different mountain huts for a particular gourmet or wine-tasting tour.
For the penny savers out there, booking one of our package holidays is a great way to save you and your wallet a bit of time and trouble, as travel can all be organised for you. If you’d prefer to self-drive, we’ve got some great packages with channel crossings and accommodation can also be booked on its own.
