Looking for an enthusiastic team of expert, friendly instructors to get your kids on the snow? Optimum are a fantastic ski school based in Saas Fee. Their ‘Kids Club’ is a group course for 6-12 year olds in school holidays (& when requested out of school holidays). With only up to 6 kids in each group, each member gets their fair share of help. All instructors in the Optimum team are fluent English speakers. Kids will get a medal and certificate at prize giving at the end of the week.

Saas-Fee's car free status make it an excellent choice for families and there are plenty of things for the kids to do too, including their own pool in the leisure centre and a playpark. Marmot feeding is possible if you visit towards the end of the season when resort level snow is melting even at Saas -Fee's high altitude. The underground mountain railway and ice pavilion above are also unique and popular with kids. There is a resort kindergarten for children and a number of the hotels offer day-care in their on play rooms for children aged two and a half and up, notably the Murmeli. On the slopes the Swiss Ski and Snowboard school have special classes for children aged 4 to 5. Snowboarding courses are available for children from age six. The school's weekly entertainments programme includes tests, races and a children's disco.
