Our experienced children's ski and snowboard instructors will make sure your little ones learn, stay safe and have fun! We always use the latest teaching methods to get the best results. Lessons are available for kids aged 4-15, but if your child is younger, please get in touch for an individual offer. With group lessons, teaching time is broken up by a lunch break in a local restaurant - 1 day, 3 day and 4-5+ day lessons are available. We also offer private lessons, if you want to fast track your child's learning on a 1:1 basis, or with other siblings and friends. Look out for our New School and Easter X camps during the Easter Holidays!

Hartweger's Kids & Mini Clubs
Hartweger's Kids Club provides ski lessons for youngsters aged 5-15 years, and snowboard lessons from 6 years up. Any level of skier and snowboarder is welcome! We want to make sure your child learns and imrpoves, while having fun with their classmates. Whole day tuition is available including 4 hours of instruction with a lunch break in between (free supervision, food and drink not included in main cost). Our qualified instructors will plan their teaching around the children's age and ability. For more advanced learners, we have great freestyle workshops. Our group sizes range from 2-10 and you can save with one of our 'Package Offers' combining lessons and equipment hire.
For children aged 3-4, Hartweger's Mini Club offers 1:1 tuition for beginners, and small group lessons (2-4 children) for more advanced skiers.

There is no non-skiing daycare for young children, but a list of baby-sitters is available from the tourist office. Children's ski school, for aged three and up, is normally organised on the local slopes - which are good for family skiing - or over on the Areitbahn served slopes above Schüttdorf. Family weeks are offered every season, they offer free accommodation, meals, lift tickets and entrance to the leisure pool for up to two children aged under 12 sharing their parents room. Enquire at the tourist office for this year's details. Otherwise children to age six are free in the parent's room, children six to 16 sharing their parents room pay a reduced rate. All in all Kaprun is a very child friendly place and the unintimidating local skiing, beautiful setting and facilities like the leisure pool make it a rather good choice for families.
