Hotels are the main ski accommodation in Sierra Nevada, and there are some excellent options to choose between. If speedy slope access is your priority, you’re in luck – Apartahotel Trevenque is in the in the Plaza de Andalucía, only fifty metres from the Al-Andalus lift, while Meliá Sierra Nevada’s at the bottom of the pistes and Meliá Sol y Nieve’s just over the road in Plaza de Pradollano – the ski lifts are just a hundred metres away from both.
Four-star hotels come with gyms, swimming pools and spa facilities, while lower rated hotels have less frills but just as convenient locations.
Sierra’s Nevada’s ski hotels come with different board basis’, with most offering half board or B&B. Half board keeps things simple by providing your first and last meals of the day moments from your room, while with B&B you can head out and explore local restaurants (like Tito Tapas and the Italian Restaurante Ci Vediamo) come dinnertime.
