Choose a hotel in the historic centre of Samoëns or opt for somewhere nearer the skiing, depending on what you want from a week on the mountains. Hotel Neige et Roc is just a stone’s throw from the village centre (where you’ll find some lovely shops and restaurants) and there’s a bus stop right outside for access to the ski area. If you fancy being closer to the action, have a look at Boule de Neige. A few km outside the village, it has an unbeatable location right at the base the of the slopes, a quick 100m from the Vercland/Saix lift which takes you to the top of Samoëns 1600m in under 10 minutes.
Wake up to a prepared breakfast with B&B and half-board holidays to fuel you up for a day on the Grand Massif. With half board, you’ll have dinner prepared for you in the hotel; if you've gone for B&B and need somewhere to eat in town, go to Le Mazot for the best pizzas or book a table at Monde a l’Envers for some good old Savoyard mountain food.
