· located next to the Hochfeld lift · 1 minute walk to the ski school, nursery slopes and ski bus stop · 10-12 minutes' walk to the resort centre
Dreamed up by former downhill skiers Hermann Maier and Rainer Schönfelder, the Cooee Alpin was designed to make skiing holidays easy and affordable for all.
It’s in a fantastic location, right next to the Hochfeld lift and just a minute’s walk from the ski school meeting point, nursery slopes and ski bus stop – making it perfect for those who like to be first on the slopes. The resort centre is a little further, around 10 minutes’ walk away.
Inside, the hotel is simple but stylish. The rooms are furnished with warm wood, soft lighting and calming colours – and all of them are identical, so you know what you’re getting. Don’t expect lots of fancy facilities here, but there is a sauna for warming up at the end of a long day. There are also individual ski lockers so you can stash your gear safely.
Sticking with the ideal of simplicity, the Cooee is offered on a room-only basis, allowing you to get out and explore the restaurants of St Johann. If you’d rather have mealtimes sorted in advance, there's an optional upgrade to bed and breakfast.

St Johann's a typical Tyrolean village - beautifully Baroque and bang in the middle of the Schneewinkel ski area. SNO lovers have fantastic access to a host of surrounding resorts: upgrade to the Kitzbüheler Alpen AllStarCard and you’ll have no reason to ski the same slope twice.
