3-family house, 3 storeys, detached. 600 m from the centre, in a sunny position in the residential district. In the house: storage room for bicycles, storage room for skis, central heating system. Parking. Shopping centre 600 m, bus stop 250 m, railway station 600 m, outdoor swimming pool 1.5 km, indoor swimming pool 1.5 km, 2.5 km. Golf course (18 hole) 2.5 km, surf school 2.5 km, sailing school 2.5 km, riding stable 200 m, cycle lane 100 m, skisport facilities 20 km. Nearby attractions: Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn Piz Gloria, Tell Freilichtspiele, Freilichtmuseum Ballenberg. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Grindelwald-First, Wengen Männlichen, Mürren Schilthorn. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thuner- und Brienzersee. Hiking paths: Jungfrau Region. Please note: the owner lives in the same residence. Neighbourhood highly sensitive to noise. Quietness and good behaviour expected.

Exit to the balcony. 1 room with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm), TV. Large kitchen (5 ceramic glass hob hotplates, freezer, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Delizio) extra, steamer, raclette grill) with small dining table. Shower/WC. Parquet floors. Balcony 15 m2, south facing position. Balcony furniture. Marvellous panoramic view of the mountains, the countryside and the resort. Facilities: iron, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi). Sat in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, Interlaken is an attractive town with good transport links - its own well-connected rail station and 4 airports within a 2 hour drive. Although it doesn’t have its own skiing, this is a super base to reach the renowned Jungfrau ski area (213km of pistes) as well as other smaller local ski resorts (Wilderswil, Beatenberg and Hapkern). We love Wengen’s ‘learn to ski zones’ and there are lots of blues to progress onto (# 22 has some awesome views of the Eiger). Murren’s nursery slopes (Snowli Kids Centre and Allmenhubel beginners area) are more snow-sure if you’re here at the beginning / end of the season. Grindelwald also has a 30km/h speed limit slope (# 1), ideal for nervous skiers. As you come of the slopes, Espresso Bar in the Hotel Spinne (Grindelwald), the Balloon or Tachi Bar (Murren) and Tipirama or Rocks Bar (Wengen) are all good places for a spot of après ski. Grindelwald has the most bars and best nightlife out of the resorts, with the Lauberhorn at the top of the downhill being the best on-mountain spot for après.
