It’s easy to fall for the Majarè. This family-run ski stay will make you truly feel as if you’ve stepped into someone’s home, with its snug interiors, traditional wooden furnishings and welcoming atmosphere. Most of the rooms here come with balconies too, just what you want for soaking up the incredible Dolomite backdrop.

It’s just right on the facilities front too. Come back from a day’s skiing and hop straight into the heated outdoor pool – or make use of the wellness space inside where there’s another pool, hot tub, sauna and Turkish bath. You can then enjoy après drinks out on the terrace or sat by the fire, before getting excited for your evening meal.

The restaurant here is special. Local cuisine gets the gourmet treatment in the 4-course affair which you can expect each night. Want to switch it up? Find your fave slice at the in-house pizzeria instead. Then come the morning, you can wake up to cooked-to-order omelettes and pancakes before heading out to ski – perfecto.
