Perched in a peaceful spot overlooking the valley, these simple apartments fit the bill for a self-catered stay. Once you’ve torn your eyes off the view, grab your goggles and head over to the handy escalators that’ll take you up into the town centre. From there you can hop on the huge Arpette cable car and start your ski day with a scenic ride across to the mountaintops.

The apartments themselves have a clean, modern look, with vintage patterns of skiers on the cushions and curtains sprinkled in for some extra alpine charm. And it’s nice and bright thanks to the big glass doors that lead out onto your balcony or terrace – just the place to kick your feet up after all that slope-schussing.

When it comes to cooking, the kitchenettes here cover the basics, with the added bonus of a dishwasher so you can save the bubbles for your après drinks. For breakfast, why not start your day the French way with a trip to the bakery? And it's well worth going out for an evening meal or two – Vaujany may be little but its restaurants pack a big punch, with everything from cheesy fondue to wood-fired pizza and even fine dining.

All apartments are non-smoking and have a kitchenette with a hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher as well as a flatscreen TV. Towels, linen and end-of-stay cleaning (except kitchenette) are included.

When you arrive, you’ll need to pay a deposit of approx. €300 by credit or debit card for each apartment on your booking.
