Overview - hotel description - Pension Rosenhof description

The 'small and friendly' Pension Rosenhof is a great little option for experiencing one of the Tirol's best ski areas, while avoiding the big hotels that dominate the centre of town. The atmosphere is homely and relaxed - typical of an Austrian family-run guesthouse. The Rosenhof is about a 10 minute walk from Mayrhofen's lively centre and the Penken gondola - so it's easy to get on the mountains for skiing and out in the evenings for a beer and dinner. The ski bus stop and train station are also only a short walk away for when you want to explore further into the Ziller Valley.

The Rosenhof is fairly simple all round - the rooms are comfortably furnished and all have balconies. Breakfasts are filling - a continental buffet to set you up for a day out on the slopes. The cosy breakfast room/lounge area has a tiled stove for warming your toes at the end of the day and there's free WiFi for staying in touch with friends back home.

This package holiday to Pension Rosenhof in Mayrhofen, Austria departs Saturday 17th December 2016, for a 7 night stay on a "bed & breakfast" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. Near the end of the stunning Ziller Valley, Mayrhofen engenders Austrian charm in a lively, cheerful atmosphere.
