75 km to the east from Kemijärvi, in a peaceful district in Sallatunturi tourist center. Round log cabin, built in 1990. Living room/kitchen, bedroom with double bed, loft with 4 beds and living area, sauna, washroom, separate WC, covered porch, terrase and balcony. Gas grill use for summer time. Outdoor storage for firewood and for skies (there's also a ski waxing stand).The cottage uses environmentally friendly wind electricity, produced by wind power. Spacious cabin in a forest area, on the slopes of fell Sallatunturi. Illuminated ski trail nearby (300 m). The nearest ski slope is North slope 1,3 km, Front slopes 1,7 km.Public beach with barbecue and campfire facilities in both hut and outdoor within 1 km distance. Spa hotel 2 km. Sports hall Salla hall 1,7 m. Services of Salla municipality center 10 km.Check in at 17 on arrival day!

Staying in Salla is all about stepping into the stuff of Christmas cards and spending a week on the same wavelength as nature. “Tunturi” is the word describing the treeless mountains that make up some of the ski areas in Finland. There isn’t a massive amount of skiing in the Sallatunturi but this is the beauty of the place as it encourages you to try other activities and enjoy the peace and quiet.
