· 3 minutes’ walk to the resort centre · 8 minutes’ walk to the nearest lift · 1 minute’s walk to the ski bus stop
The Haun family have run things here for generations, and the staff really go the extra mile to make your stay special, whether that’s helping with the bus timetable or plumping your pillows each day. And the location’s pretty great too – a few minutes’ walk from the local slopes and a matter of metres to the ski bus that’ll take you to the wider ski area.
Facilities-wise, younger ones and teens a can have fun with air hockey and table football in the games room. Or, for some adult-only chill time, slip on a robe for a spell in the top-floor spa area. With a sauna, steam room and menu of massages, it’s your ticket to après-ski bliss. This is also where you’ll find the hotel’s piste de resistance – a rooftop pool where you can enjoy a soak with views of the wooded Zillertal valley.
Mealtimes are another highlight here. Take a seat in the elegant dining room each morning and load up your plate from the continental-style buffet. Then it’s back here again in the evenings for 4-course dinners that dish up stews, dumplings and all those Austrian favourites, as well as Italian classics from calzone pizzas to tortellini.
