Secluded yet accessible – The Gran Paradiso sits a mere 100m from the slopes in a wooded glade in the small hamlet of Armentarola, just outside the village of San Cassiano. Access to the wider ski area is simply via one lift and a ski into San Cassiano.

The Armentarola run – The Armentarola ski run is one of the most famous in the area. At 8.5km long it’s also one of the longest, taking in some fantastic scenery from top to bottom. At the end of your ski day you’ll finish at the bottom, just over the road from the hotel.

Peaceful and welcoming – Hotel Gran Paradiso has a cosy feel with traditional accents and natural materials that amplify the comfort, warmth and welcoming environment crafted by the Ploner family.

The SkyWellness Centre – Located on top of the hotel with views of the surrounding Dolomites and pine forests, the wellness centre features an indoor pool, outdoor infinity pool with Jacuzzis and an ice plunge bath. In addition, there’s a Finnish sauna, bio sauna, Turkish bath, cardio fitness gym and relaxation rooms.

Magnificent menus – The hotel invites you to “taste all the flavours of the Dolomites and the excellence of Ladin and international cuisine.” Their dining room and bar are home to themed dining evenings showcasing traditional dishes and only local produce to whisk you to gastronomic heaven!

Meals - food and drink in Hotel Gran Paradiso

Half Board. A delicious buffet breakfast of hot and cold traditional and continental items is served daily for all guests to indulge in. Dinner is a multi-course affair beginning with a salad buffet, followed by a daily pasta special. The main courses are a choice of vegetarian, red or white meat dishes, all served with wine from the hotel’s large cellar. If you can manage it, dinner is finished off with a delectable homemade dessert.
