· central location · 1 minute's walk to the ski bus stop · 8 minutes' walk to the St Johann gondola
Right in the heart of town is the Hotel Fischer. It's run by the very friendly and welcoming Michael Grander and his cheerful team. If you've ever been to St Johann, you've probably enjoyed a drink in the bar here, Michi's – and if you haven't been yet, you should definitely pop in.
From outside, it looks like a traditional Tyrolean hotel. Once inside though, the rooms are nicely decked out with a modern feel – but still some classic Tyrolean charm.
The Fischer is the sister hotel to the Hotel Park and, as the Fischer is further from the slopes, you're welcome to store your skis at the Park for free. The walk to the lifts will take around 8-9 minutes or, alternatively, you can make the most of the free ski buses around town.
Food at the Fischer is highly rated too – from the fresh breads on the breakfast buffet to the tasty evening meals.
If you like a sauna after a day out on the slopes, you're in luck. And to make up for there not being a pool at the hotel, you'll get free entry to the local Panoramabad public pool each day.
· free WiFi · internet terminal · Michi's Bar with Sky sports channels · lounge · sauna and infrared cabin · extra charge for massages · free daily entrance to the Panoramabad public swimming pool complex · children's playroom with toys and cinema · 35 rooms · lift to all floors · free ski storage at the Hotel Park, close to the main gondola

Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.

•Huge linked ski area •Great off slope activities •Night skiing
St Johann's a typical Tyrolean village - beautifully Baroque and bang in the middle of the Schneewinkel ski area. SNO lovers have fantastic access to a host of surrounding resorts: upgrade to the Kitzbüheler Alpen AllStarCard and you’ll have no reason to ski the same slope twice.
