Relax in stunning surroundings in the hotel's rooftop hot pools. With views towards Cascade Mountain, these outdoor pools are the perfect place to decompress after a day on the slopes, along with the sauna and fire pit.

Banff Avenue location

Located on the edge of town on the resort's main street, Banff Avenue, the Hotel Canoe & Suites has great views of the national park's surrounding mountains.

Walking into downtown is a simple 20 minute stroll, or you can easily catch the bus from opposite the hotel and be in the centre of Banff in just 5 minutes. The local ROAM bus pass for routes 1 and 2 is included with your stay at the Hotel Canoe & Suites.

Getting onto the slopes at Banff's three resorts is easy too. The buses to Banff Sunshine Village, Lake Louise ski resort and Mount Norquay pick up and drop off at the Moxy Hotel opposite the hotel.

On-site restaurant

The hotel's Sudden Sally eatery is located just off the main lobby and is payable locally. Open forbreakfast, lunch and dinner you won't have to go far to find excellent food. At breakfast the restaurant offers a variety of pancakes, oats, eggs and a great coffee selection. For lunch and dinner the menu is filled with salads, flatbreads and famous Alberta steak alongside local beers and cocktails.

Banff downtown is just a short walk away and has tonnes of incredible restaurants from sushi to pizzas and fondue to steakhouses.

Mt Norquay’s runs are sheltered by trees - head up on the Cascade chair for wide and easy-going greens like Temptation and Speculation.
