Positioned with lovely views of the mountains and close to the nursery slopes and ski bus stop, this four star superior hotel is lovingly run by the third generation of the Duftner family. Dating back to the 15th century, it is beautifully and traditionally decorated and guests can enjoy free wine tasting in the old cellar bar and a weekly Fondue night and torchlight walk. Staff are attentive and helpful which adds to the wonderful ambience, and the fabulous wellness area including a heated outdoor pool is perfect after a day in the snow.
Gratlspitz Austrian twins are cosy and have shower, those with bath have a sloping roof. Superior 'Schatzberg' Austrian twins are larger with bath and balcony. Spacious new wing 'Sonnjoch' rooms have bath, separate wc and south-facing balcony. Singles have shower and balcony. All rooms have cable TV, radio, safe, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer and telephone.
Restaurant & Bar
The lift doesn't access all floors and there is no access to pool and garden area. The village of Alpbach is on a hill, so is therefore unsuitable for physically disabled clients
