This package holiday to Hotel Alpenhof in St Anton, Austria departs Saturday 25th March 2017, for a 7 night stay on a "half board" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 15/16 was between 50p and £2 per person, per night.

Brimming with traditional Austrian charm but with all the conveniences of a modern resort, St Anton's vast, high altitude ski area and vibrant atmosphere make it truly world class. It's one of the major international destinations that everyone must visit at least once (and is likely to return to frequently thereafter). Two minutes from the train station and less than an hour's drive from Innsbruck airport, it's a conveniently accessible resort. The main village is traffic free and stretches for about 1km - dot...
It's often said that if you learn to ski or snowboard here, you're likely to find any other resort an utter breeze... Thanks to local legend Hannes Schneider, St Anton opened the first ski school in 1921. The Skischule Arlberg continues to provide excellent tuition today, so beginners are in good hands. There's a nurs...

You'll find about 20 bars offering a variety of scenes, but to experience après ski at its best you can't leave until you've joined the masses and danced on the tables at world-famous Mooserwirt or The Crazy Kangaroo (Krazy Kanguruh). While it's reputation is lively (and the resort lives up to it) there are lots of options if you prefer a more so...
