· in the resort centre · 5 minutes' walk to the nearest lift and the nursery slope · 2 minutes' walk to the ski bus stop
This chalet-style hotel has a prime spot right in the heart of the resort. Step outside and it’s only a short stroll to Val d’Isère’s shops, restaurants and lively bars. And when it’s time to head to the slopes, just nip down to the boot room to collect your ski and boots, toasty warm thanks to the heated boot racks, and walk 5 minutes to the main Solaise gondola.
Inside, the cosy bar and lounge is a great place to relax after a day on the slopes. The wood panelling and open fireplace give it a snug mountain feel, and there are plenty of comfy armchairs where you can sit and warm up with a hot drink. Upstairs, the bedrooms are simple but homely – and some have balconies too.
When it comes to food, you’ve got the flexibility of staying on bed & breakfast. Set yourself up for the day with a hot and cold breakfast buffet, served in the hotel restaurant – which has floor-to-ceiling windows so you can enjoy mountain views while you eat. Later on, you can pop back for an à la carte lunch in the coffee shop – which serves up light bites, wraps and poke bowls – or enjoy a buffet dinner in the restaurant.
