10km Husky Safari - Exclusive to Golden Crown Igloos

Duration: 4 hours

  • This is a self‑driven husky safari.
  • Guests must be at least 18 years old and in good physical condition to drive the sled. It is not possible to arrange for a guide to drive the sled.
  • This excursion is not available for children under 13 years old.
  • Single riders who have booked a sharing husky‑sled option may be required to upgrade locally to a single‑driver sled if no sharing sleds are available.


1km Reindeer Sleigh Ride - Exclusive to Golden Crown Igloos

A reindeer sleigh ride is one of the most magical experiences you can do in Lapland. Visit a traditional reindeer farm, where you'll learn about these gentle Arctic animals and their important role in Sami culture and life in the far north. You will then enjoy a tranquil sleigh ride through the snow covered wilderness behind a reindeer guided by an experienced Sami herder.

Your visit also includes time at the farm, where you'll gain a deeper insight into reindeer husbandry, local traditions, and the special bond between the Sami people and their reindeer, making this a heartwarming and unforgettable Lapland experience.

  • Riders must be over 160cm tall and aged 13+ to pre book this excursion.
  • E-Biking is a physically demanding activity, so participants should have a good level of fitness to take part.


20km Snowmobile Safari - Exclusive to Golden Crown Igloos

Experience one of Lapland's most iconic adventures as you journey through snow-covered forests and across frozen fells on an exhilarating snowmobile safari. After a full safety briefing and driving instruction, you'll set off into the pristine arctic wilderness, surrounded by breathtaking winter scenery. Along the way, your guide will bring the landscape to life with fascinating stories about Lapland's wildlife, culture, and centuries-old traditions, making this an unforgettable way to experience the magic of the far north.

Duration: 2 hours

  • All drivers must be aged 18 or over and must bring a full, valid photographic driving licence to the excursion. Snowmobiling is a physically demanding activity, so participants should have a reasonable level of fitness to take part.
  • Children must be aged 13 years or above and at least 140cm tall to ride as a passenger on a snowmobile; they must be able to comfortably reach the footrest while seated.
  • Single riders who have purchased a sharing snowmobile may be required to upgrade locally to a single-driving snowmobile if no sharing snowmobiles are available.


Northern Lights Snowmobile Safari - Exclusive to Golden Crown Igloos

A safari beneath Lapland’s star filled skies is a truly magical experience. Venture through frozen forests and into the heart of the Arctic wilderness, where, with a little luck, you may witness one of nature’s most breathtaking spectacles, the Northern Lights dancing across the night sky.

Your guide will lead you to carefully chosen viewing locations away from artificial light, giving you the best possible chance to experience this extraordinary phenomenon. Along the way, soak up the peace and beauty of the winter landscape as you search for the enchanting glow of the Aurora Borealis.

Duration: 2 hours

  • All drivers must be aged 18 or over and must bring a full, valid photographic driving licence to the excursion. Snowmobiling is a physically demanding activity, so participants should have a reasonable level of fitness to take part.

  • This snowshoe safari is designed for beginners who have a good level of fitness,

  • Exact excursion timings will be confirmed upon arrival in resort.
  • Some excursions may have flexible scheduling. Where this is the case, your invoice will state: "The actual time and day of your excursion will be confirmed locally and may differ from your invoice and voucher." Our resort team will then advise you on arrival.

Each one has motorised twin beds, plus a sofa bed for the two children.
