Chalet Snowhawk forms part of our fantastic "Mountain Lodge" development situated in the popular Gastig area of St Anton.
Finished to an extremely high standard, this first and second floor duplex apartment-style chalet offers superb accommodation for a maximum of 10 guests in spacious, comfortable surroundings with a lovely welcoming living area with soft sofa seating and a wonderful open log fire - something often difficult to find in St Anton chalets!
The Snowhawk features 5 ensuite twin rooms with a shared terrace that runs along the length of the apartment. There is also access to the private swimming pool (for Mountain Lodge) along with a relaxation area, sauna and hammam in which to relax and rest those weary legs after a hard day on the slopes (specific times of use). This super chalet is positioned in a peaceful location, about a 12 minute walk downhill to the resort centre (a little more on the way back!). The free resort bus stops closeby giving access to the Galzig & Rendl lifts and we offer a complimentary ski shuttle service on 6 days of the week at set times in the morning and afternoon, meaning access to and from the fantastic Arlberg Ski Circuit could not be easier. The Snowhawk (also referred to as Kapall) is run by one of our friendly chalet hosts (with the help of a combi from time to time) who live in a separate apartment in the same building.
Did You Know... A Snowhawk was a uniquely snowmobile designed in the early 2000's which combined the snow world of sleds with the dirt world of off-road motorcycles and with only a single ski and narrow rear track & suspension, it was rather tippy, so great driving technique and a good level of balance was needed to stay aboard!
We offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Your preferences will be discussed at the time of booking and a tailor-made itinerary will be costed based on your requirements.
Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.
If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by our specially selected chalet hosts. We do not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, we serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagne or casseroles.
Our menus have been formed over many years taking into account previous guests’ likes and recommendations and whilst we believe this plan to offer excellent variety, there will be the odd occasion when a dish might not be well-received. We would ask you therefore that if you have any specific dietary requirements or a yearning for dishes in particular, you enquire before booking your holiday and provide us with as much notice as possible regarding specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, celiac or non-dairy etc.
