The location of Chalet Iceberg is tough to beat, sat on the Chemin de Crouze, you'll find the Chardonnet lift and piste just 150m away, and the shops, bars and restaurants of Tignes Le Lac just a further 100m. The Aeroski gondola is also close by, just a five minute walk from the Chalet and you can hop on the lift which connects Tignes to Val d'Isère. If you're looking to explore Val Claret, there is a bus stop nearby which will whisk you there in no time at all.
Chalet Iceberg is a traditional chalet in an enviable location in Tignes le Lac, which with five bedrooms sleeping up to nine guests, would make the perfect sized chalet for two families. Set over three floors, with plenty of space, a cosy living space with two roaring fireplaces and stunning views over the frozen lake, Chalet Iceberg is a fabulous choice for a family ski holiday.
Entrance to the chalet is on the first floor, where you'll find a ski and boot store, complete with heated boot driers, perfect for keeping your feet warm and dry before each new day on the slopes.
Head up to the first floor and you'll find a spacious living room, complete with roaring fireplace and comfortable sofas, and a large flat screen television with a DVD player, a collection of DVDs and French and English channels, perfect for unwinding in front of a good film after a long day on the slopes. If the weather is nice, why not enjoy an après-ski drink whilst soaking up the last of the sun on the large balcony, which commands stunning views of the frozen lake and the mountain peaks beyond.
There is a fully equipped semi-professional kitchen, finished in stainless steel and complete with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and cafetière, so you'll have all the tools required to whip up a feast for all the family, which can be enjoyed in the dining room, in which you'll also find the chalet's second fireplace, ensuring this property will always be cosy and inviting, even on the coldest of nights.
There are five bedrooms in total, the first of which is on the first floor, with space for one person in a single bed (90cm x 190cm), plus its own en-suite shower room and WC. The other four bedrooms can all be found on the second floor, each with its own bathroom and WC, two of which have double beds (140cm x 190cm) and two with twin beds (90cm x 190cm).
There is free WI-Fi throughout the chalet, perfect if you need to work whilst away, or stream your favourite film or TV shows whilst relaxing in front of the roaring fire. If you're travelling by car, there is no parking available at the chalet itself, as due its altitude and heavy annual snowfall, it's not possible to park outdoors. However, there is covered parking available for 90 Eur per week in Tignes Le Lac or a free, uncovered carpark in Tignes Les Boisses (5km away by free skibus).
We include: Beds made on arrival, with bath robes and slippers, mid-week and end of stay cleaning, mid-week towel change, local tourist tax, satellite TV and free wifi. Our contactless catering service, where we shop, deliver and stock your kitchen before your arrival and half-way through your stay.*
*The backstage team's work of organising and delivering provisions and cleaning the chalet is all included in the marked chalet price. If you choose the Contactless catering service, the price also includes all your food and drink for the week. We will provide you with breakfast every day, afternoon tea and snacks, pre-dinner nibbles, plus a three course dinner on six of the seven nights, which also includes unlimited red and white wine and a few beers.

Classic Contactless Catering Service
Your chalet will be ready on arrival - beds made, dinner ready and fridges stocked*, wine-cellars replenished, skis and lift passes all booked. But you won't see us. We'll be at the end of the phone, but there will be no contact, unless you need it. You and your family will be safe and looked-after, as we work in the background, providing everything you need.
Our contactless catering service comes with the choice of two pricing options, a fixed menu with food and drink included in the price, and our self catered option which allows you greater flexibility to eat and drink whatever you desire and the cost of the food is on supplement, at cost price, and depending on what produce you choose to order.
For those looking for a simple packaged chalet price, we are offering an all-inclusive price, which includes rental of the chalet and your food and drink for the week. Included will be breakfast, afternoon tea, a three course dinner on 6 out of 7 nights, plus unlimited wine and some beers. We have prepared a delicious menu for the week, with a mix of ready prepared meals from a local delicatessen and easy to cook dishes or sides. All that will be required from you is to pop a few things in the oven and throw together a few ingredients to make a simple salad, or steam a few vegetables as sides to your main meal.
Perhaps you want the freedom to choose your own menus, or perhaps you'd prefer to eat out more than one evening during the week, or you just love to cook yourself and enjoy the holidays where you have time to do this in a relaxed way. That's where our self catering service comes in. As an alternative to the service detailed above, we will also offer a lower rate, which does not include the food and drink for the week.
Our aim is to provide the safest possible environment for a ski holiday, whilst staying as affordable as possible. The new way to holiday will be by enjoying the facilities, food and beverages but without the staff waiting on you hand and foot. That will keep things safe and affordable. However, for those in search of a little more luxury, we are able to provide drivers, chefs, daily cleaning, ski lessons etc, all of which can be discussed at the time of booking or with our concierge service prior to arrival.
*Please note that for the self catered option, ski hire and lift passes come at additional costs and are not included in the chalet price. Ski hire and lift passes can be booked in advance with our preferential rates. For our fixed menu option, the price does not include ski hire and lift passes, but it does include breakfast and afternoon tea for 7 days, plus a 3-course dinner with beer and wine for 6 days.

Tignes is somewhere you can ski longer, higher and further than most other resorts in the Alps. Owing its snow-reliability to the Grande Motte glacier, the local ski area is joined with Val d’Isere’s to form the mammoth Espace Killy - intermediates will have a whale of a time here. Choose between 5 different villages, whether your priority is convenience, cosiness or cheap accommodation. Tignes also has one of the most famous New Year parties in the Alps.
