Meribel Musillon is one of the more intimate and pretty areas of Meribel, slightly removed from the centre with around a 10 minute (approx.) walk to the shops and restaurants. The ski lifts at Chaudanne are 1200 metres away (approx.) however the free ski bus stops just 40 metres from the front door of the chalet, so you (or your inner teenager) can almost roll out of bed and straight onto the bus. As the service runs every 5 minutes at the beginning and end of the ski day and there are only 2 stops between you and the lifts, it’s probably more efficient and reliable than any taxi service and will certainly get you to lessons on time.
Chalet Croquette was built at a time when it was a sign of high-born status in Méribel to name one’s chalet after a type of potato dish. The départment de planning in Méribel was inundated with applications and this period gave us alpine properties that have now become household names; Chalet Dauphinoise, Chalet Jacket and the celebrated Chalet Chips.
Croquette is located on Rue de Roast just 450m from Méribel Centre. It has everything you would expect from a four bedroom chalet named after a breaded mashed potato pattie including no less than four bedrooms. All four of these four bedrooms have an en-suite and walk-in wardrobe too which, in our estimation, gives you four en-suites and four walk-in wardrobes. Rather neatly this works out, on average, at one en-suite and one walk-in wardrobe per bedroom. Kitchen, dining, living area with fireplace on the top floor.
Croquette is a lovely chalet that is perfect for four couples, a group of friends or two families. Small-but-perfectly-formed, it has a fantastic location from which to explore the amazing town of Méribel.

Meribel has a special place in many Brit's hearts – not simply because it’s right in the middle of the biggest ski area on Earth. A resort for long ski days, ski-boot-stomping après and cosy chalets, there’s a great deal to do and ski here, which is why many of us have been coming back for decades.
