We came as a group of four to stay in the club chalet. The food and wine was fantastic and meeting new people made for fun evenings. Great hosts and a nice chalet. Only downside was the comfort of the beds and pillows which did not feel very good, in fact we both lost quite a bit of sleep. This imposing stone-and-timber chalet in Val d'isere sleeps 24 guests and is ideally located on the edge of the Santons piste. This means that you really can click in and out of your bindings a few steps up from the ski room door. Our CLUB chalets are reserved by the room; this engenders a convivial atmosphere and lovely relaxing place to meet families or other like-minded skiers.

No. 3 CLUB Bellevarde boasts abundant plump and inviting sofas from which to enjoy a relaxing novel or warm your toes in front of the open fire and a cosy bar with unlimited draft beer and wine. There is also the ubiquitous 42" HD TV with Freesat and Wii. The giant vaulted dining room offers a canapé reception on 6 nights and CLUB dining from your Chef with a more flexible menu plan and choice of dishes.

Twin hot tubs on the sprawling terrace are the perfect place to relax and enjoy the breath-taking view. Our CLUB chalet holidays are intended to distil the very best of the celebrated club-hotel atmosphere but with the intimacy and exclusivity of a private home.

You'll also have access to our pool and spa complex located adjacent to the chalet. With treatment rooms, a hammam, sauna and heated pool, it's the perfect place to relax after a hard day on the slopes.

For guests staying in No. 3 CLUB Bellevarde we recommend the ski hire service from Mattis. Their shop is located in the centre of Val d'Isere so once you are settled and have sampled the afternoon tea that awaits you on arrival a member of the Ski team will take you to the shop. At the end of the week your equipment will be collected from the ski room in the chalet, so no need to carry it back to the shop. We are confident you'll get the very best of service from the Mattis team.

In France's Rhone Alp region, Val d'Isere (pronounced: val de saire/sare/ser or val d sere) is widely thought of as one of the most brilliant and beautiful ski areas in the world. In keeping with the giddyingly gorgeous surroundings, the resort itself is one of France's prettiest - a huddle alpine hamlets formed from cosy wood and stone chalets. With the original village dating back to the 13th century and a Christmas-card-worthy church steeple at its centre, there’s alpine charm by the bucket load. While dre...
Skiers in Val d'Isere are schussing in the tracks of some of the world's greatest skiers. Olympic medallists Marielle and Christine Goitschel learned to ski here, not to mention triple gold winner Jean-Claude Killy, after whom the wider ski area is named. As an indication of this place's premier status - the resort has hosted championships including the 1992 Olympics, the World Alpine Ski Championships in 2009 and World Cup events every December. If some of the best skiers in history have learned here, begi...
Famed for its après ski, there's no chance of a dull evening in Val. Living up to its name, you'll experience ‘sweet madness' at the original Le Folie Douce, which brings you some of the best après ski in Europe - including dancers, musicians, raining champagne and much more... Once that closes, Dicks T Bar's a local legend, staying open into the early hours each night. Bananas is another firm favourite, much loved for its crafty cocktails and slope-side location. In Val d'Isere's 90-something restaurants, ...

Brilliant staff, enthusiastic, helpful always cheerful. slight downside is the size of the rooms (we had 5 & 7) Two females !! we found the small bathroom and little room space difficult to manage- the only reason for the 4 rather than 5 stars. The hot tubs were delightful! and well used!!! Arriving to check in at LGW for Monarch was awful. huge queues- quite efficiently handled but not the sort of situation we like. ( & Have never experienced with this chalet company before) The weight allowances on the flight was difficult as we understood the 20 kgs included ski boots. meaning we lost almost 7 kilos with those! When we arrived at Grenoble there were no trolleys….again the staff were extremely helpful in carrying some of our skis etc and apologetic !! and on our return wheeled racks of trolleys out to meet us at the bus!!! Basically a wonderul experience, there is a very good chance that we will use the chalets yet again.. Please give a very big thank you to all of your people who looked after us so well…..The morning tea wake up call was the "icing on the cake" !!!

CLUB Bellevarde lived up to all our expectations. The accommodation was spacious and well-maintained and, despite being completely full, was surprisingly quiet. We took over the whole chalet and squeezed an extra teenager on a camp bed in one room, which we had been warned would make it cramped but it was fine. We enjoyed having the sitting/ dining areas to congregate in, though the living space was quite cosy when we were all there. Fine for us as we all know each other well. I can't praise the chalet hosts (Sophie, Harriet and Jamie) and chefs (Finn and Lorna) highly enough. They were friendly, relaxed and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. They all seemed to enjoy our (and each others') company and really made the holiday. The food was delicious and plentiful and much better than we have had on previous chalet holidays. The chalet is well-located, a short walk down to the village and with a (difficult) blue run right behind it. We all enjoyed the hot tubs after a day skiing. The concierge service was helpful and they booked (and cancelled) quite a lot of restaurants for us very efficiently. If I had a criticism it would be the coach transfer. It was OK but leg room was very cramped - quite a few of our party are tall and had to sit with their legs poking out into the aisle. As we booked the whole chalet I was quite surprised that we weren't given a private transfer in lieu of a discount. My other comment is that the ski hire shop were not particularly efficient. Given that we had provided our heights, weight and shoe size in advance they didn't seem especially well prepared for our arrival and were slightly short on stock, though I was happy with the skis and boots I got.

Our rooms were very small and very hot. We turned off all the radiators but the under floor heating threw out so much heat that we had to sleep with the windows open and were still hot. The living area was very cramped for the number of guests. Staff were nice but upon departure none of them said goodbye and upon arrival at the airport in the coach there was no announcement as to where to go or any thanks for travelling with us type comments. The food was excellent and the wine selection was good. Overall I do not think the holiday was good value for money.

Great hosts and a nice chalet. Only downside was the comfort of the beds and pillows which did not feel very good, in fact we both lost quite a bit of sleep. Mattresses were hard and you could really feel the springs and the pillows were exceptionally hard. We stayed in room 9. A good nights sleep is vital on a skiing holiday and this problem would make us think twice about booking again, especially as we thought this was the top chalet in Val
