No. 6 Bellevarde Summary

* Outdoor Hot Tub * Piste-side Location * Ski guiding * In-house ski hire * Pool & Spa access *

Looking to ski in Val d'Isere, then No. 6 Bellevarde may be the perfect chalet for you. No. 6 Bellevarde is an imposing stone-and-timber chalet in our piste-side Hameau de Bellevarde collection. Situated on the edge of the Santons piste it means you really can click in and out of your bindings a few steps up from the ski room door.

A green/blue piste leads a few hundred yards down to the Olympique lift area and ski school meeting point from behind the chalet but our morning shuttle service will drop you there if you wish. The ski back to the chalet in the afternoon involves either a red or black piste or short traverse across some unkempt snow fields, or it's just a short walk up the hill back to the chalet. For those who find themselves in La Daille at the end of the day we offer a shuttle service back to the chalet between 4pm and 6pm.

We used genuine old timbers from a local dismantled farmhouse, Italian marble in the bathrooms and some rather lovely parquet on the floor. The vaulted sitting room has an open fireplace, floor to ceiling glass and abundant plump and inviting sofas from which to enjoy the breath-taking view.

There are six en suite bedrooms on the first and second floor making this a perfect choice for a group of family or friends. Chablis has a combination of Twin and Double bedrooms, all with en suite bath, hand basin and WC. Four of the rooms also have a balcony.

Your dedicated chalet hosts will be on hand to ensure you have all the information you need and will serve breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3 course dinner with wine on 6 evenings. After a hard day on the slopes, the terrace hot tub is the perfect venue for beer and bubbles or head next door and relax in our pool and spa complex.

For guests staying in Hameau de Bellevarde chalets we offer complimentary ski guiding on Monday and Tuesday from 09h30-12h30 (12h00-15h00 in school holidays) with an Oxygene Instructor (maximum 20 guests) and we have built our own rental shop to provide a convenient ski & board rental service .

In France's Rhone Alp region, Val d'Isere (pronounced: val de saire/sare/ser or val d sere) is widely thought of as one of the most brilliant and beautiful ski areas in the world. In keeping with the giddyingly gorgeous surroundings, the resort itself is one of France's prettiest - a huddle alpine hamlets formed from cosy wood and stone chalets. With the original village dating back to the 13th century and a Christmas-card-worthy church steeple at its centre, there’s alpine charm by the bucket load. While dre...
Skiers in Val d'Isere are schussing in the tracks of some of the world's greatest skiers. Olympic medallists Marielle and Christine Goitschel learned to ski here, not to mention triple gold winner Jean-Claude Killy, after whom the wider ski area is named. As an indication of this place's premier status - the resort has hosted championships including the 1992 Olympics, the World Alpine Ski Championships in 2009 and World Cup events every December. If some of the best skiers in history have learned here, begi...
Famed for its après ski, there's no chance of a dull evening in Val. Living up to its name, you'll experience ‘sweet madness' at the original Le Folie Douce, which brings you some of the best après ski in Europe - including dancers, musicians, raining champagne and much more... Once that closes, Dicks T Bar's a local legend, staying open into the early hours each night. Bananas is another firm favourite, much loved for its crafty cocktails and slope-side location. In Val d'Isere's 90-something restaurants, ...
