The Clara is absolutely gorgeous. You literally couldn't get more traditional and this wonderful apartment gives a real feel of wonderful Alpine charm. It has a wealth of lovely antique hand-carved furniture and a fantastically large creaky wood panelled living room in which to collapse after a day on the infamous slopes the wonderful area of St Anton and Lech has to offer. The bedrooms, bathrooms and open-plan living/dining room are all wonderfully quirky and comfortable, so when one boasts character in abundance, in this instance, it truly is the case.
The Clara is enviably positioned literally 1-2 minute walk from the uncrowded Nassereinbahn Bubble Lift and ski school meeting point, and just a straight-forward 8-minute flat walk to St Anton's high-street with its plentiful shops, bars & restaurants. The local vicinity, whilst peaceful and secluded, also offers popular bars and restaurants for those looking to stay closer to home. All in all, Clara has been one of our favourites for many years to come now - it is hugely popular so you'll need to be quick!. You will be looked after by one of our specially-selected chalet hosts who lives out of the building but close by.
Did You Know: Clara is in one of the very few original remaining chalet buildings in St Anton and is name after the daughter of the friendly Austrian owner from Vienna...
We offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Your preferences will be discussed at the time of booking and a tailor-made itinerary will be costed based on your requirements.
Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.
If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by our specially selected chalet hosts. We do not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, we serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagne or casseroles.
Our menus have been formed over many years taking into account previous guests’ likes and recommendations and whilst we believe this plan to offer excellent variety, there will be the odd occasion when a dish might not be well-received. We would ask you therefore that if you have any specific dietary requirements or a yearning for dishes in particular, you enquire before booking your holiday and provide us with as much notice as possible regarding specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, celiac or non-dairy etc.
