Chalet Amelie (sleeps 8), 1650m. The Amelia is one of our most popular properties in Courchevel 1650 which forms one of the most beautiful and traditional wood and stone clad chalets in the village.
Situated in the same building as The Antares (also part of the programme), it has great space for goups of 8 people with bedrooms all ensuite and a lovely open plan living/dining room with fireplace and balcony with fantastic views. Built in recent years by its current French owner, much care has been taken to ensure it retains as much Alpine tradition as possible combined with comfortable furnishings, fixtures and fittings. There is a super Wellness Centre on the ground floor (shared with Antares) which has a jacuzzi and sauna so what better way to end your day and revitalise yourself for the evening ahead with complete relaxation and switch-off.
Set in a peaceful location just below the high street of 1650, the position of The Amelie is absolutely superb. The village with its many shops, bars and restaurants and the ski lift accessing the popular 1650 ski area is literally a few minutes walk away.
The Amelie is run by one of our specially selected chalet hosts who lives out but nearby.
Did You Know: The name Amelie is perhaps best known for the award-winning and much-loved French movie "Amelie" in which a Parisien waitress does all she can to improve the lives of those around her for the better. We have no doubt our very own Chalet Amelie will be able to do the same..!

We offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Your preferences will be discussed at the time of booking and a tailor-made itinerary will be costed based on your requirements.
Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.
If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by our specially selected chalet hosts. We do not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, we serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagne or casseroles.
Our menus have been formed over many years taking into account previous guests’ likes and recommendations and whilst we believe this plan to offer excellent variety, there will be the odd occasion when a dish might not be well-received. We would ask you therefore that if you have any specific dietary requirements or a yearning for dishes in particular, you enquire before booking your holiday and provide us with as much notice as possible regarding specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, celiac or non-dairy etc.
