This holiday apartment is situated in Boden, somewhat outside the centre of Adelboden, on the ground floor of a semi-detached house. Two bedrooms, each with two beds, provide sleeping space for four. An additional child’s bed is available. The large, bright living room with sofa suite, dining table for six, TV, DVD, radio and chimney-oven is the perfect place for cosy family evenings. From the living room, you can access the large garden seating area with impressive views of the mountains, the waterfall and the World Cup ski piste in Adelboden. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a large food preparation area, cooker/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher etc. The bright bathroom is fitted with bath, toilet and basin. The apartment also has a drying room for laundry with washing machine, a large storage area and an anteroom for shoes and sports equipment. Directly across the road is a convenience store selling groceries and provisions. The local bus service stops in front of the house. Non smoking apartment. Pets are welcome. At the end of a valley in the beautiful Bernese Alps, the traditional village of Adelboden is built in classic chalet style (lots of timber, shuttered windows and wrap-around balconies). The parish church is over 500 years old and the bakeries, chocolate shops and cheesemongers around nowadays have been run by the same families for generations. The ski area is split into different sectors, with some brilliant nursery slopes on the outskirts of the village for first timers. TschentenAlp has the closest slopes to the village, linked by cable car and providing incredible views back over Adelboden. Time out Pub is one of the main après spots here, with a terrace that spills out onto the village square and screens for live sports.
