Jasper's one of the only Canadian resorts with chalet accommodation, and when your chalet or log cabin is part of the Fairmont empire, you can expect a pretty spectacular stay. The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge (a 5 minute drive from downtown Jasper) covers an enormous 700 acres of National Park, where a lakeside village made of different sized cabins and chalets surrounds the main lodge and spa.
The chalet accommodation doesn't tend to include the traditional ‘breakfast, tea and dinner with wine' catering that we find in European chalets. Instead, dining's usually based around the nearby restaurants and bars - ask our specialists for an up to date summary of this season's packages.
