Les Orres ski apartment holidays

Apartments are the perfect choice of accommodation for anyone looking for a ski holiday on a budget, without the usual constraints of set menus and meal times that come hand in hand with catered accommodation.

For a really beautifully built set of apartments, have a look at the Combe d’Or, they are really modern and spacious with doorstep skiing and incredibly close to the ski-school meeting point, which makes them a great choice for families.

Alternatively, the very centrally located Terrasses du Soleil d’Or are just 5 minutes’ walk from all the important things in the 1800 village. Located right on the slopes, the property promises stunning views, as well as a short walk to the ski school meeting points, bars like the Winter Lounge, restaurants like La Bouscatiere and the pick-up point for the free bus that runs between Les Orres 1650 and 1800.

Apartments don’t necessarily mean a week of washing up, with a number of great restaurants in both 1800 and 1650, their menus offering a range of traditional French and Italian cuisine, meaning you have a concrete reason to leave the kitchen well alone for a couple of nights during the week. Wander to the Cote Terroir in 1650 for a hearty mountain supper, with the customary cheese dishes on offer, as well as French delicacies like foie gras and fresh bread.
