Resting on the banks of the Grand Canal, the luxurious SINA Centurion Palace has been a fixture of the Venetian waterways since 1892. A former palace of the Genovese family – one of Italy’s most infamous families – the Centurion Palace is quite literally ingrained with history. Beneath its foundations you'll find a former monastery along with servants quarters dating back to the 7th century.
Large windows in the hotel offer panoramic views of the Grand Canal. We love spending time on the terrace that runs along the front of the building. You can take breakfast here next to the water. Every room has soundproofed walls so you can be sure of a peaceful night's sleep, despite being only 20 minutes' walk from the train station. This location makes it easy to explore all that Venice has to offer.
Transfer time: approx. 1 hour by water taxi from Venice Marco Polo Airport or approx. 1 hour 10 mins by private car and water taxi from Venice Treviso Airport.
Local Fees and Taxes
Resort tourist tax of approx. €6 per person per night, payable locally.
