Overview - hotel description - Hotel Cellai description

Hotel Cellai is part of a 19th century palazzo in central Florence so you get a real sense of authenticity when you stay here. The family who own the hotel have carefully decorated it in keeping with the building's history and the whole place feels really elegant and comfortable. We love the original works of art and the hand-picked antiques. The rooms all have luxury fabrics and period furniture. They combine traditional Italian design with more contemporary touches. One of the best parts of the hotel is the roof terrace. The flowered roof garden is the perfect place to enjoy a drink with views of the rooftops all the way to the hills of Fiesole.

The hotel’s in the perfect location for exploring Florence. You don’t have to wander far to pass by Michelangelo’s David or to see Brunelleschi’s dome. One of our favourite things to do when we’re in town is shop like a local in the San Lorenzo food market. It’s just around the corner from the hotel and you can pick up some great Tuscan delicacies.

Transfer time: approx. 25 minutes by private car from Florence airport or approx. 1 hour 20 mins by bus & train or private car from Pisa airport.
