St Christoph is a very remote resort. It’s a pretty place with an absolutely brilliant location for getting on the slopes, there just isn’t much to do beyond that. There’s no real nightlife; if you wanted to wander around and go to a few bars you couldn’t really do it here. The hotels have bars and there’s one very nice place where they all wear traditional dress, but generally everything’s quite expensive. The boys wanted to watch the 6 nations and there was nowhere. There are a couple of shops for ski gear but we like to get chocolate bars and squash for the mountain and we couldn’t do that here, we had to go over to St Anton.
Having said that, it’s easy enough to get into St Anton by bus and I would definitely recommend St Christoph for access into the ski area.
Having been to St Christoph once, if we went back again we would be repeating the entire holiday as it’s so small. It’s a lovely place though and if I was the kind of person who returned to the same place twice I would consider it.

St Christoph is nice but it depends what you want. If you’re young and looking for a party atmosphere, you’re probably better off over in St Anton. There’s not a great deal there, you have to get the bus to St Anton if you want any shops or bars. We skied the whole St Anton area when we were here and it was good. It was starting to get warm towards the end of the ski season so the slopes were a bit slushy in the afternoon but there was plenty to ski overall.

St Christoph is a lot quieter than St Anton which is nearby, it’s very small, really a hamlet rather than a town.
I would certainly recommend it to people with young children, older teens might get a bit bored with the lack of nightlife compared to St Anton but for us the hotel had enough nightlife for the week.
