The snow was good at 1600m but you make the compromise of staying in a small village to get the good conditions – we would have preferred a bigger town with more going on. The village is hardly even a village - it’s a purpose built resort on the mountain and only has one or two shops besides the hotels.
The skiing was great but my only concern was that the blue slope that everyone goes down to get to the main area (and is also used for lessons) gets very crowded, to the point that it’s quite dangerous. You come down to that off a black and red and the other runs down are reds. I wouldn’t recommend the place to novices and wouldn’t go here with kids either as there are not enough blues. Apart from this however, the quality of the slopes and the lifts are fine.
If you want to be sure of the snow and are a competent skier, it’s a good option.
