Each of it 39 rustically decorated chambres are furnished with warm, wooden interiors, soft-fur throws and chic natural art works, creating the perfect blend of modern luxury and traditional alpine lodge charm. With spectacular views of the mountains from your balcony, i-pod stations, widescreen TV’s and huge in-room hot tubs, you barely need to venture out of your room.
However, if you do, you’ll be greeted by the most scrumptious afternoon tea, featuring home made butter madeleines, marshmallow treats, divine cakes and a plethora of teas from around the world. For more Indulgence, as well as the in house spa, try out the hydro-therapy pool, jacuzzi cave, steam room and sauna, perfect for reviving ski weary bodies. Every detail of this hotel is perfectly thought out from the one-touch fireplaces in the bedrooms, to the in-hotel ski shop, with a lift which brings you straight up onto the slopes. This luxe hotel, with access to the world's largest ski area, is well equipped to serve families and groups, accommodating up to four people in some suites and up to ten in the 3,014-square-foot Kaïla Chalet. After a fortifying organic breakfast from the extravagant buffet, guests can grab their concierge-arranged passes and head for the slopes or succumb to a day of pampering at the Nuxe spa. The large pool, often quiet during the day, has a marine circuit, counter-current swimming, and submerged exercise bikes for aqua training.

Situated in the center of Meribel and gifted with its own private elevator that takes guests directly to the slopes, Le Kaila is, hands down, the hippest place in the French ski resort to combine skiing with pampering, gourmet cuisine and high-end accommodation. Conceived as a warm winter cocoon replete with chocolate and silvery gray faux-fur, natural wood, thick carpets, and cushions galore, the décor of this classic chalet-style boutique hotel is inviting and luxurious. The bar area with its log fire is a comfortable place to relax, while the beautiful blue-lagoon pool offers counter-current swimming and submerged exercise bikes for aqua training.
