I had a very good week away and the holiday was good value for money. I wasn’t expecting a lot from the hotel, but the rooms were fine and clean, and the bar area was fine. The food – put it this way – wasn’t gourmet… I tended to eat a decent lunch in resort, then have soup and salad in the evening. This worked fine as there are plenty of places to eat in Borovets and I didn’t pay a lot for the hotel anyway. The location is good as you’re literally a couple of minutes’ walk from the gondola.
With regards to who I’d recommend the hotel to – it’s probably better suited to a group of lads, it’s not a great family hotel or for people who are expecting luxury or higher quality food.
