It’s cheap and cheerful, definitely at the bargain end of the market so we didn’t have high expectations.
We were really close to the gondola that goes up to the top and to get to the chairlift wasn’t very far, only about 5 minutes. The hire shops would take all skis and boots at the end of the day if you wanted them to, so you didn’t have to trudge through town with boots.
The food wasn’t great - a bit samey, lukewarm and not much but warm stew if you’re a vegetarian. We went out to a few local restaurants which were good and the food on the slopes was great (and obviously dead cheap compared to France).
The people who worked there were friendly enough, we had quite a few kids in the party and the staff didn’t make a fuss about them coming and going.
The rooms were fine and we had no trouble with noise. Everything was clean and worked as it should and the beds and showers were fine.

We were a group of 20 somethings and for us it was basic... The food wasn’t amazing but you get what you pay for, and it’s so cheap to eat out anyway. The hotel is right in the centre, really close to the ski lifts (a 5 minute walk) so you’re in a brilliant location. The rooms are totally basic but warm and comfortable. The decor is a bit dated but everything works, the showers were all good. The ski place was fine and you could get massages if you wanted to book them. There was also a little bar and you’re right opposite one of the main bars in the resort.
