1 review of Hopfgarten in Austria.

The whole resort (ski welt) had 91 lifts that you could access from different towns. From Hopfgarten there was one gondola that took you halfway up the mountain and then there were lifts that you could access the other mountains. It is that big that we didn't get around the whole resort in 6 days of skiing. The snow was really good as well and getting around the mountain was easy too, although the trail map could be a little confusing at times. But the skiing was awesome and I'd definitely head back. There is no night lifts from Hopfgarten, unsure if there is from the other towns. Après ski were good too, we always went to Rundel's which was just at the base of the gondola at Hopfgarten. Hopfgarten itself is pretty cool too, got everything you need and some good restaurants to eat at. The food and drink on the mountain was good to. Think there was around 44 restaurants/bars on the mountain so you would always be skiing past one at some point.
