Fantastic hosts

Reviewed 26 Mar 2015

We had a brilliant week, this is a very good chalet and the two girls who run it really made it. The building itself is quite small and compact compared to other chalets we’ve been in. We had a twin, en-suite room which was fine, not huge but we were only staying for a week so it wasn’t a problem. The food was fantastic, they’d make anything we wanted. To get from the chalet to the slopes was just a walk of 100 yards and you could ski back to the door. Quite a few of the other people staying there used the wellness facilities, but we didn’t so I can’t comment on those. The only criticism we would have is the boot room, which was a 2ft x 2ft cupboard that had to be shared by everyone staying in the chalet.

Nice full bathroom with Jacuzzi bath

Reviewed 3 Jul 2014

Very good, we were pleased for the price we paid. The room was very, very small, if we had paid full price I don't think we would have been happy with it. It was adequate. It was nice to have a full bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath.
The food was very good and the host was very young but lovely. Hygiene was a bit hit and miss at times, but she did a good job.
The chalet was in a good location, we could ski back.

Sweet spot, near snow, away from hubbub

Reviewed 3 Jan 2014

Enviable proximity to the piste and ski school meeting point - less than 280yards to both - this chalet also maintains a good distance from the village, meaning you won’t be disturbed when trying to settle down to a good night’s sleep. Seclude yet close enough that getting into the centre is a simple hop. For chalet lovers looking to stay in La Rosiere, this is a very nice place to stay.
