The chalet was very nice and it was great to have the pool downstairs. The only snag was that it had a sauna but the staff kept forgetting to put it on. It took a couple of hours to heat up once they had put it on, and this happened a couple of times – not a biggie but something that could have been better. The staff were very friendly and the food was alright given they were basically just young adults putting meals together. We weren’t expecting cordon bleu but from a bunch of young people it was fine. From the description of the chalet it seemed a lot more convenient than it was. Not that the location was dreadful, it just wasn’t as easy as we’d expected. You had to trek through a back garden and slide down the hill, while beginners who couldn’t have managed the hill would have to walk up for about 10 minutes to the centre of the village.
We’d deliberately booked a later flight back but ended up being put on a coach with an earlier flight, so we had for wait a while at the airport which was a bit annoying.

We really enjoyed staying in Chalet Les Andes: the hosts were really nice, the food was good, our triple room was fine and it was so nice having a pool! It wasn’t too far from the slopes (if you don’t mind walking maybe a couple of hundred metres). All in all, couldn’t complain!

This is a really nice chalet with a nice atmosphere and a nice layout. I’ve stayed in lots of places in Tignes and this is among the better ones. The staff were really helpful and friendly. It could have been a bit closer to the slopes but it can’t help that! It took me 5 minutes which isn’t too long. Out of 10 I’d say the food was an 8.5-9, I was quite happy with it and there was plenty to go around. We shared a double room with 3 beds which was fine, nice balcony.
