The comfiest beds and pillows to melt into after a long days skiing! The living area has been refurbished as well, a lot cosier and welcoming than the photo here! Dining room is a lovely place to eat every evening and on staff day off (usually Thursday)restaurants aren't far away...There's actually a pizza place opposite. Nasserhein lift is about 5-10 minutes away, depending on if you're wearing ski boots or not! But close either way.

This is supposed to be a 4.5 star chalet but the food wasn’t that good. They just seemed to be going through the motions by giving us canapés and four courses but it wasn’t quite right, with overcooked veg etc. 20 years ago this sort of thing was very chic but now people want hearty bistro food like Jamie Oliver does – a lot of people ended up eating out. I didn’t want to eat separate from the children as I wanted to spend time with them on a family holiday, they let the kids come and eat with me which was good.
The staff did the best they could although they were a little jaded at the end of the season.
The location was alright, only a bit of a walk down to the lift in boots.
The interior is well finished and the room arrangement that Idalette from Sno sorted us out with fitted quite well. We had an upstairs and a downstairs with a little kitchenette where we did our own dinner one night.

First impressions were that it was absolutely perfect for the price we paid! We got a very good deal with SNO for some April skiing and it was a much better price that we would have had for Feb half term.
The food was fantastic, absolutely brilliant, I can’t fault it! There was plenty to go around and the wine, which was included in the price, flowed – there was no restriction on it at all.
The staff were fantastic.
The bedroom and bathroom were great, very comfortable with just enough space for us.
We were well located for the St Anton ski lift and the shuttle was very good indeed with the stop just outside Chalet Frieda – perfect. It would have been a very short walk in snow boots or normal shoes but with ski boots we found it was easier to get the bus – if we ever missed the bus we’d just walk up as it wasn’t too much of a chore.
The walk into town was very convenient indeed; it took about 20 mins to get to all the bars etc.

This newly refurbished traditional style chalet-hotel is located just a short walk from the Nasserein gondola, and for those keen skiers among us you can ski virtually back within a hundred yards of the building. Its popular with groups, with two restaurants nearby and the well known and great value après bar Tom Dooleys just a two minute walk away (or 3 minute wobble).
