It was really good, we liked it. The best bits were that the staff were really good and the chalet’s quite convenient to get out onto the slopes (it’s not on the slopes, but it’s pretty convenient – just 100m away).
The social area is essentially a massive square which made it a little difficult to have conversations across it (you could just speak to the people next to you).
The food we had was good, and generally the place had a nice atmosphere. We were very happy with it.

A luxury ski trip for us as we always self cater in a cheaper area. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable and stress free with little organisation for ourselves. A real treat!

First class chalet and conveniently located for town and lifts. Tony and Carol were very caring and attentive hosts who really tried to make our holiday special. We have had many chalet holidays and they rank right at the top in the quality of what they provided.

Tony and Carol did an outstanding job and could not have done more to make our holiday more enjoyable. One incident I recall was on the first day I had accidently left my goggles back at the ski chalet and Tony realised this and came back down to the ski hire centre saving me a long walk back to the chalet in my ski boots....top class!

The hosts were brilliant and very knowledgeable. It’s compact and the lounge area isn’t huge, but everyone staying there got on really well which helped. The rooms weren’t massive but we liked having a bath and there was a nice warm boot room.
The food was excellent – I’m not a cake person but the cakes in the afternoon were lovely and there was always plenty of wine with supper. They checked if you had any allergies or didn’t like anything to make sure everyone was happy. We decided to treat ourselves to a meal at the local Michelin star restaurant on the hosts night out, and I would definitely recommend it if you want to push the boat out – the cost doesn’t actually end up much more than other restaurants. The chalet was in a good position; you just walk down the road and put your skis on. We didn’t have much snow but if there had been enough, we’d have been able to ski from the door. To get to the centre of the village, you just have to walk up the road for 3-4 minutes and catch the lift down.
