We had a great time

I would describe the apartments as cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for. The apartment we stayed in was separated from the main block, just around the corner. It wasn’t stunning inside, but it was comfortable and for the money we paid it was good. There was a single bed in the hall as you enter, another single in the sitting room and a double bedroom. The hotel is run by some lovely people, we ate there in the evenings and the food was mostly local, not necessarily perfect for young kids but there’s lots of bread to fill you up – we had rabbit one night, venison another... We cooked a couple of lunches in the apartment itself and its fine for stuff like boiling up pasta on the hob and warming up a pasta sauce etc.
To get to the skiing, it was about 150 yards up a slight incline which was fine from a skiing perspective. The ski rental shop is right at the top of the road by the lifts and you can leave your skis and ski boots there overnight which is useful.

Woudl recommend to anyone. Lovely family run hotel & food

I stayed here with my son and husband and would recommend the apartments to other families with younger and older children. They would also be good for couples who wanted time to themselves and I’d actually go here on my own as a solo traveller too.
The apartments are quite close to the lifts, about a five minute walk with a ski shop in between if you want to pick up equipment. They’re high up so when you’re getting here, you take the bus half way and then a taxi takes you the rest of the way.
We had the bottom apartment which is not 4 star accommodation but is ok, you have to bring your own toilet paper, soap, shampoo etc but they do give you towels. We had a 4 person apartment for 3 of us. My husband and I slept in the double bedroom which has good storage, there’s another bed outside the bedroom near to the front door which we didn’t use - our son stayed in the bed in the kitchen/sitting room area.
We didn’t spend much time at all in the actual apartments, we never cooked in them but there is a little kitchen. We had our meals in the hotel; you walk round the corner for about a minute to get there. It’s a family run hotel and the people are really lovely and friendly. They have a nice area where you can sit down and chat with other guests, play games and have drinks and there’s also a sauna you can use if you’re staying in the apartments. There’s also a nice boot room where you can store stuff. We ate here all week - in the mornings they do juices, teas, coffees and a continental breakfast with yoghurt and fruit. For dinner, we had a 3 course meal with a soup, main course and pudding.
