Bardonecchia New Year holidays
New Years here is all about the food, drink and company that the Italians do so well. If your hotel isn’t putting on a special spread on New Year ’s Eve (ask our ski specialists which ones do), most restaurants host celebrations - Chesal 1805 and WAIKIKI have done great menus in recent years - so that you can enjoy the last day of the year with the best food you’ve ever had! Enjoy favourites like Pizza and pasta or try something you’ve never had before, like North Italy’s classic dish of polenta, served up with local game or cheeses for veggies. Later on, order a bottle of bubbly and celebrate in one of the resort’s lively bars like La Crota-Enosfizi or Camarillo Cafè.
You won’t be short of things to do here – start off the new year on the slopes, ice-rink or tubing track (kids will love this) or spend your Christmas money on trendy leather goods in the local boutiques.
