Celebrate a happy New Year skiing from the comfort of this authentic mountain village.
Have your breakfast and dinner taken care of in a half-board hotel – we recommend the Hotel Alp as a warm and friendly choice, conveniently placed at the foot of the piste by the gondolas for total ease of slope access. Self-catered apartments will cut down the cost a little and there are good food shops in resort to make things easy – Les Chalets Du Gypse are attractive chalet-style apartments in a central location.
After a day spent hitting the amazing mountains, begin your NYE party at Le Dahlia for merry après at the foot of the slopes. If you fancy a more civilized approach, order a table at the suave Pourquoi Pas for a tasty meal and fine wining. You can head over to Les Menuires in the evening to enjoy the fireworks and wonderful torchlight displays they usually put on, before party goers head for the popular clubs Le Leeberty and New Pop. Alternatively, just kick back with some champers and reminisce the year gone by in St. Martin – there’s likely to be some impromptu fireworks to ring in the New Year.
Wake up and put your skis on for a fresh New Year on the snowy mountainside. St Martin offers direct access to a huge range of opportunity across 600km of pistes in the 3 Valleys. There are amazing opportunities for the advanced and experts on reds from the 3 Marches summit like ‘Combes’ - the Point de la Masse has great black runs including the steep long ‘Rocher Noir’. Beginners can practice in the nursery greens back at the village and there are good blues just above, like the ‘Biolley’ where skiers and boarders blossom.
