This historical village is brimming with charm for a white Christmas in the 3 Valleys to be spent together.
If you’d appreciate some professional hotel treatment then check out the quaint Hotel Alp, which has a warm friendly atmosphere and sits right next to the gondola for a quick link to the 3 Valleys – to top it off, you can ski to and from the door. For chalet-style accommodation, have a look at the affordably self-catered Les Chalets Du Gypse apartments, centrally located with balcony views across the picturesque village.
Ruckus is kept to a minimum in St. Martin so you can enjoy a peaceful Christmas your own way. Those looking for some razzle and dazzle can head over to Les Menuires for the celebrations where in past years Santa has made a grand torchlight entrance down the slopes accompanied by fireworks and other festivities on Christmas Eve.
The snow should start picking up by this point in the season so chances are you’ll enjoy some good snowfall. There are 160km of piste to cover in the immediate area and a whopping 600km to be explored across the 3 Valleys. Beginner terrain is brilliant and more advanced opportunities are clearly vast, with heaps of red runs like the local favourite ‘Jerusalem’ on the way back home and daring blacks like the steep ‘Lac Noir’.
Christmas is always a very popular time of year, so make sure you book ahead of time to avoid disappointment! With holiday packages including flights and transfers, organising things couldn’t be easier. If you’d like to drive your way over we can also organise self-drive packages, otherwise there are accommodation only options as well. Give our friendly ski experts a call and book yourself a magic holiday in the snow this year.
