Chamrousse Half Term holidays

A week here over February half term has in past years allowed you to ski as the sun goes down and the stars come up - red piste Les Gaboureaux is normally floodlit during this week only and allows confident skiers to enjoy a fantastic night time experience of the mountains. The skiing is great in the daytime too and conditions usually peak at this time of year – beginners will find plenty of easy terrain including the Perche runs while intermediates are excellently catered for and experts can try out descents like the legendary Olympique Hommes. Families looking for somewhere to ski over the school holiday will be pleased to hear that the Sunsetpark at Roche Béranger (1750) has recently been upgraded to cater for less experienced freestylers. There’s also a mini boardercross with gentle banks and turns if you want to introduce some competition to the week.

You don’t have to be on the slopes here to have a good time – rest those aching limbs at the Balcons de Recoin spa, catch up on the latest films at the Allocine cinema or enjoy another winter sport at the Ice Rink in Recoin (1650).

See what’s available during the half term week below. This is one of the most popular weeks to ski which means flights and accommodation tend to book up rather quickly - call our ski specialists to secure your holiday today.
