There’s no danger of missing all of the snow if you’re heading to the Zillertal Superski Area late this season. Much of the terrain in the region is above 2000m, and 75% of this can be coated with artificial snow if there’s not enough of the natural stuff left to go around. If this still doesn’t whet your appetite, then how about a trip to the Hintertux Glacier? With its snow sure guarantee, the 233 hectares of slopes are often still in perfect condition come Easter, and the 5 lines of the incredible Betterpark are immaculately maintained year round . The views from the top are staggering-even non skiers can head up to admire them- and relaxing with a drink at the Tuxer Fernerhaus is a treat indeed. Just remember your suntan lotion- goggle tans are an occupational hazard at this time of year!
It’s worth considering booking an accommodation only package and driving to the Alp’s at this late stage of the season. You’ll have plenty of room for skis and Easter eggs, you’ll have a few extra pennies for resort, and having a car in the Zillertal Superski Area makes hopping between resorts even easier. Holidays including flights will get you to the slopes as soon as possible, and let you make the most of your time away from the office. Transfers to the resort are included as well, so there’ll be no further hassle once you’ve landed.
