St. Christoph is a beautiful village throughout the year – but at Christmas it manages to become even more magical and should have you in the festive spirit in no time. There’s normally a good deal of snow by this time of year and 130km of slopes have snow-making machines meaning they’re likely to have fantastic conditions at this the most wonderful time of the year.
Most chalets and hotels put on special meals on the 25th – look on the individual accommodation pages or call our ski specialists for more information. For a brilliant meal out over the festive period, the Hospiz Alm is one of our favourite restaurants. People staying all over the Arlberg area ski here for a tasty meal - it has been awarded a prestigious accolade of 2 toques and if this hasn’t persuaded you, the slide that takes you to the bathrooms might just do the trick...
This pint sized resort is perfect if you’re after a quiet Christmas on the slopes, but it’s also a terrific place to stay if you want to enjoy St Anton’s ski area and festivities without staying in the resort itself. A wonderful Christmas market usually takes place in December with bucketloads of fantastic gifts and culinary delights. If St Anton’s events and attractions are anything like past years, you can enjoy a superb performance by the Wiltener boys choir around Christmas time and toboggan rides and skating can’t fail to get you feeling festive either.
