With 200km of the best prepared pistes suitable for all abilities across the massive linked resort, snowparks like the awesome floodlit Nightpark and a modern high speed chairlift system, Saalbach is a fantastic New Years skiing destination.

Two of our favourites are the Hotel Sonnleiten from which you can enjoy stunning views over the village and the Hotel Bauer which is right next to the lifts for easy access to the slopes.

Watch the amazing traditional torch run by the local ski instructors and prepare for fireworks to ring in the New Year with a bang. Saalbach offers some of the best aprés ski in the Alps, so celebrate in style with the Austrians at treasured venues like the Hinterhag Alm and the Underbar.
