Those hoping for a white Christmas could do much worse than visit glimmering Saalbach. December is a great time of year for snow conditions here with plenty of powder to be expected. Ski a circuit around the stunning snowy mountains for a magical Christmas day experience.

You could take a horse drawn sleigh ride through the beautiful Glemmtal valleys, whether you’re looking for a romantic outing or unforgettable moments with the family. Spend Christmas day ice skating together outdoors in Hinterglemm before heading to a cosy mountain restaurant like the Bäckstätt Stall for a festive menu. At Christmas time the dazzling village really is a winter wonderland.
